NewsIsraeli strikes kill eight people in Gaza
Five civil police officers have been killed in an Israeli airstrike in al-Mawasi, in Rafah, in the Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera reported the strike on Sunday. The dead in that strike are described as civil police officers. The number is five.
Separately, three more Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on a building in Gaza City. One of them was a four-year-old child. The Gaza City strike is a different strike from the one in al-Mawasi. The report treats them as separate.
Eight is the sum of the two death tolls in that account. Five are the police officers. Three are the people in Gaza City, including the child. This story does not merge the two places into one attack.
Al-Mawasi is the place of the first strike. Rafah is the area named with it. Gaza City is the place of the second. The Gaza Strip is the territory.
Israeli is the description of the airstrikes. Civil police is the description of the five. A building is the target description in Gaza City. Sunday is the day of the report.
The recorded toll is five officers and three other people. The recorded child is four years old. The recorded places are al-Mawasi and Gaza City. No further casualty figure was included.
